About the Communities Conference

The inaugural CAUDIT Communities Conference was held in 2024 and brought together leading minds from the higher education sector, covering a range of topics pivotal to organisational success that span the breadth of the collective expertise captured in the CAUDIT Communities of Practices:

Drawing the expertise and experience of our Community Members, the Conference brings to life the critical wealth of knowledge that exists among our Communities or Practice.

About the 2024 theme 'sector Strong'

The theme spotlighting resilience, success narratives, and adaptability in higher education.  Sector Strong embodies why CAUDIT Communities of Practice exist and illustrates their significant impact by promoting the exchange of best practices, instilling confidence, and cultivating networking opportunities for IT professionals. We take pride in the achievements of our remarkable organisations, and our collective pride in being part of the broader sector is even more profound.

The Conference will typically include a mentor lounge, Community themed sessions, vendor workshops and campus innovation tours.
